Technical Support Intern

Summer Internship | Hybrid

Interested in AI, machine learning, and IoT technologies and how they’re used in real-world applications? Rehrig Pacific is looking for a Technical Support Intern to support our innovative Vision Object Recognition (VOR) and smart-enabled lift solutions.

This full-time, hybrid summer internship offers hands-on experience working with both software and hardware, including time at a manufacturing facility. You’ll collaborate with our Delivery Solutions Support Team and cross-functional partners to see how technology drives supply chain and delivery efficiency.

What You’ll Do

Hardware & Software Support

  • Troubleshoot customer data and software-related issues.

  • Assist with basic hardware troubleshooting.

  • Support communication layer issues (cellular, Wi-Fi, and networking).

  • Use SQL queries to research and resolve common technical problems.

Implementation & Configuration

  • Install and configure device firmware and software.

  • Assist with system setup, data loads, and API configurations.

  • Monitor daily files, review product SKU lists, and identify exceptions.

System Monitoring & Testing

  • Participate in quality assurance (QA) and user acceptance testing (UAT).

  • Validate software deployments and updates.

  • Review daily system health metrics and KPIs to identify trends.

Customer & Technical Support

  • Create, track, and resolve customer cases in Salesforce Service Cloud.

  • Gain exposure to Salesforce modules such as Asset Management, Knowledge, and Case Management.

  • Create knowledge-base documentation for internal teams and customers.

Technologies You’ll Be Exposed To

  • Microsoft SQL

  • Linux / Ubuntu Core

  • AWS (S3, QuickSight, APIs)

  • Datadog

  • Salesforce

  • Machine Learning & data models

  • RFID and GPS technologies

What We’re Looking For

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, MIS, Computer Science, Data Science, Business, or a related field.

  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

  • Exposure to SQL Server or database technologies is a plus.
