About the Role

We’re looking for a detail-oriented, customer-first Account Specialist to join our team! This role serves as the primary contact for customer accounts — building strong relationships, ensuring accurate order fulfillment, and resolving issues with speed and professionalism.

As a key liaison between our customers, sales team, and operations, you’ll play a critical role in delivering an outstanding customer experience while supporting business growth. What You’ll Do

Customer Management

  • Serve as the go-to contact for account questions, orders, and updates

  • Process and track customer orders accurately

  • Ensure timely communication on shipments, changes, and service requests

  • Maintain clean and up-to-date account records

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Sales, Plant Managers, and Scheduling to meet customer needs

  • Coordinate with internal teams to resolve issues and enhance customer satisfaction

Operational Support

  • Monitor and manage inventory aging, customer RFQs, and warranty claims

  • Provide strategic monthly forecasting insights using JDE or Power BI

  • Identify and act on service issues before they become problems

Continuous Improvement

  • Propose and support process improvements

  • Help optimize warehouse efficiency and resolve product challenges

  • Share feedback and opportunities with leadership

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.)

  • 5+ years of experience in customer service or account management

  • Strong communication and organizational skills

  • Solid understanding of manufacturing processes

  • Ability and willingness to travel (10–20%)

  • Hands-on approach — must be able to handle products (crates, trays, pallets)

  • Experience with Salesforce, JD Edwards (JDE), and/or EDI is a big plus
