Learning and Education Specialist

Purpose of Role

As the Learning & Education Specialist at Rehrig Pacific Company, you'll serve as a trusted advisor in learning and development, fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the Rehrig Family. Your pivotal role involves delivering impactful training programs aligned with Rehrig's values and mission, including program management, facilitation, and monitoring of the Rehrig Accountable Management System. Additionally, you'll collaborate with functional leads and the Human Capital team to support with retention, upskilling, and creation of educational opportunities for both internal and future family members.

Areas of Accountabilities

Training Program Delivery and Development:

  • Facilitate, advise, and support with monitoring the Rehrig Accountable Management System curriculum and learning programs, ensuring that participants gain a deep understanding of key concepts and an opportunity to practice the learning.
  • Create and/or update standard operating procedures (SOP), guides, and course materials as needed.

Collaboration:

  • Create and implement targeted learning paths in collaboration with Business Partners, Inclusion and Belonging team, and/or the Talent team to identify specific learning needs and develop relevant educational experiences.
  • Collaborate with SMEs, consultants, external partnerships, and internal stakeholders to ensure that training programs align with organizational goals and priorities.

Evaluation and Training Administration:

  • Assess the effectiveness of training programs and continuously improve training through participant evaluations and stakeholder feedback.
  • Utilize and maintain the learning management system (LMS) and other technology platforms to deliver, track, and evaluate training programs.
  • Research and evaluate emerging trends in learning technology to optimize the learner experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in training delivery and facilitation
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles, training methodologies, and proficiency in utilizing learning and educational technology.
  • Experience in needs assessment, training program development, evaluation, and familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and instructional design software.
  • Ability to travel 25%.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Rehrig Pacific, compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $74,000.00 to $95,000.00.
