Junior Business Analyst

Purpose of Role

The Jr. Business Analyst is responsible for understanding end-to-end business processes and will have the functional capabilities to troubleshoot Tier 1 types of issues and system fixes. The Jr. Business Analyst manages tickets and is the first source point for communicating, updating documents, and training materials. Empower JD Edwards users through creating robust, scalable, and comprehensive training program development and maintenance.

Areas of Accountabilities

JDE Training and User Onboarding

  • Collaborate with consultant to build self-service training modules to identify missing training documentation
  • Create training documentation in adherence to JDE Training Standard
  • Communicate new training availability to all stakeholders and aide in onboarding processes
  • Facilitate JDE tests, approve user access, and notify users of additional training requirements
    • Identify knowledge gaps and create training as needed
  • Identify modules that will require changes in the LMS for new JDE functionality and enhancements and update documentation of all presentation materials and knowledge checkpoints
    • Facilitate training and support for Users on changed processes

User Support

  • Analyze break/fix issues to identify functional solutions and validate success with Users
    • Responsible for assigning and prioritizing JDE issues
    • Maintain documentation log of solutions for future reference
    • Create and maintain user-friendly training documentation based on recurring issues
    • Escalate to Manager of Financial Systems for Tier 2, customization, or development
  • Collaborate with other departments for break-fix solutions as needed

Customer Service Excellence

  • Monitor Jira JDE Project for new tickets
    • Respond in accordance with defined SLAs
    • Keep JDE tickets updated with progress
    • Document resolution to JDE tickets within tickets and link appropriate documentation
    • Follow-up with users after resolution to ensure full satisfaction
  • Generate JDE tickets from user requests received outside of Jira
  • Monitor JDE Support Email box
    • Respond, Categorize, and convert to JDE ticket as required
  • Engage with users’ posts in Teams
    • Offer guidance, link documentation, or convert to JDE ticket as required

JDE Configuration Upgrades, Enhancements, or Modifications

  • Participate in system upgrades
    • Assist in planning and testing
    • Post go-live support, including cross-functional collaboration with User Support

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required or relevant JDE experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the Distribution, Sales, or Manufacturing Applications of JD Edwards 9.2
  • Strong business process knowledge of Distribution, Sales, or Manufacturing functional areas
  • Strong organizational, coordination, facilitation, consultation, and conflict resolution skills
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Able to accurately define the key elements of complex and ambiguous situations to effectively solve problems
  • Shows considerable business insight to support the organization’s goals
  • Can make good and timely decisions the keep the organization moving forward
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly across all levels of the organization
  • Ability to create and maintain a mission driven culture supported and reinforced by the company’s five core values: Family, Service, Growth, Intrapreneurship, and Innovation
  • Travel: Minimum of 20% via airplane

 

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Rehrig Pacific, compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $85,000.00 to $95,000.00.
