Client Support Intern

Location: Pleasant Prairie, WI

Position Summary

Rehrig Pacific has a need for a hard-working, self-motivated Client Support Intern to join our technology services team. This individual will be exposed to both the implementation and support of data collection technology systems (RFID, Barcode, GPS,). This individual will learn how these systems integrate with our products and how we leverage them to optimize the logistics of the supply chain. During the internship this individual will also become familiar with the hardware and software we support related to our customer facing technology solutions. This position will work approximately 16-28 hours a week.

Outlined Responsibilities

  • Nightly Processing
    • Assist with scrubbing and loading customer data
    • Resolve and document data issues
  • Troubleshoot and Maintain Customer facing Hardware/ Software
    • Install and configure necessary firmware or software for various devices
    • Troubleshoot customer data and software issues
    • Validate software versions
    • Troubleshoot Communication layer issues (Cellular, Wi-Fi, Network)
  • Implementation
    • Create databases and load data
    • Scrub address lists and note exceptions
    • Re-Route projects based on demand
  • Monitor and Maintenance of Hosting Environment
    • Participate in Quality Assurance and User Acceptance testing
  • RFID/Barcode Tag Management
    • Process, receive and inventory RFID/Barcode orders from external and external customers.
    • Maintain database of RFID/Barcode Tags values by project
    • Print RFID and Barcode tags
  • Case and issue tracking
    • Exposure to salesforce.com
    • Log and track customer issues in Jira Service desk
  • Technologies
    • Microsoft Excel
    • Microsoft SQL
    • Microsoft IIS and web technologies
    • Force.com
    • Tableau/Power BI

Knowledge, Skills and Expertise

  • Creative problem solving
  • Excellent time management
  • Ability to work independently with little or no direction, multitask and meet multiple deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to quickly grasp and apply new concepts and technologies
  • Ability to use Microsoft excel is a must
  • Exposure to SQL Server and database technologies is a plus.
  • Pursuing a MIS, Technology or Business degree or certificate
