The SDR plays a critical role as the connection point between marketing initiatives and our field and territory sales teams—helping turn interest into meaningful conversations and long-term customer partnerships. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys proactive outreach, and wants to grow within a collaborative, purpose-driven organization.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Opportunity Generation

  • Identify and engage prospective customers through outbound calls, emails, and social channels across assigned markets and product lines.
  • Create targeted outreach campaigns for specific regions and customer segments.
  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads using defined criteria and a strong understanding of customer needs.
  • Schedule qualified sales appointments for Territory or Account Sales Managers.
  • Achieve weekly and monthly lead generation and appointment-setting targets.
  • Develop and manage target prospect lists to support faster sales cycles.
  • Support lead preparation and follow-up for conferences, trade shows, and industry events.

Pipeline & CRM Management

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all prospect interactions in Salesforce.
  • Manage assigned lead pipelines to ensure proper follow-up, progression, or disqualification.
  • Provide visibility into pipeline health, conversion trends, and activity metrics to sales leadership.

Collaboration, Learning & Growth

  • Partner closely with Marketing to support lead-nurturing efforts and provide feedback on lead quality and messaging effectiveness.
  • Share market insights, customer feedback, objections, and emerging needs with sales and leadership teams.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of outreach messaging, scripts, and qualification strategies.

Process Improvement

  • Use data, feedback, and performance insights to refine outreach efforts and improve conversion rates.
  • Leverage approved sales tools and technologies to drive efficiency, consistency, and results.
  • Actively build product and industry knowledge across assigned offerings and supported product lines.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
    • Preferred fields: Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or related areas.

Skills & Competencies

  • Proven ability to prospect, including confidence and creativity in cold calling and entering new markets.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Highly motivated, results-oriented mindset with the ability to succeed in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales tools such as Salesforce.
  • Experience using prospecting tools (e.g., ZoomInfo, Sales Navigator) preferred.
  • Knowledge of environmental or related industry products is a plus.

Travel

  • Approximately 25% travel by airplane to attend trade shows, customer meetings, and internal company gatherings.

Why Join Us?

  • Be part of a supportive, team-oriented culture that values collaboration and shared success.
